01.
Making quotations and offers
Our in-house process starts even before the acquisition of an order, with the detailed analysis of the drawings received from our customers. In this early phase, in addition to analytical cost estimates, our estimators make use of their long-standing experience to draw up provisional production programs and check that they are compatible with the needs of our customers.
Once compatibility between the requests and our in-house work plans has been ascertained, our technical and economic offers are prepared, summarising all the main characteristics of the project.

02.
Activating an order
Once the commercial phase is concluded and the contract is signed, the order becomes effectively active and from this moment on all communications and documents are associated with the specific project.

03.
Technical optimisation
On the basis of the project implementation plans, our in-house technical department suggests ways of optimising the welds based on our in-house technological process and aimed at simplifying and improving the project itself.

04.
Issue of construction drawings
Aided by cutting-edge software (e.g. Tekla, Bocad, Tecnometal, Actcut, Steel project PLM) our technical department issues the final construction drawings, extrapolating sheet metal lists and optimising nesting in order to achieve ultimate waste reduction.
05.
Ordering raw materials
Thanks to a vast network of tried and tested raw material suppliers, we can quickly satisfy contingent supply requirements in compliance with specific project characteristics. Over the years, we have also tried and tested a joining process in compliance with the highest quality standards. To guarantee complete traceability of products at all times, when metal sheets and other iron and steel products arrive they are stored away by order number inside our warehouse.

06.
Cutting and sandblasting
Based on the cutting patterns developed by our technical department using the nesting process, sheets are cut using oxy-fuel or plasma technology according to needs. Thanks to the latest investments made in cutting-edge machinery, at this early stage the sheets can be drilled and caulked automatically with millimetric precision. All the material is sandblasted before moving onto the next machining phases.

07.
Automatic welding
Over the years, a process has been developed that makes it possible to fully exploit all the potential of automatic welding machines for the SAW (submerged arc welding) process to create both flat and curved rectilinear beams. The sheets are held in place by calenders that guarantee perfect contact between them and compliance with the geometries of the project. Before welding, the material is pre-heated to the temperatures established by the characteristics of the materials. We are also equipped with two SAW welding manipulators which allow us to automatically weld large and complex-shaped products while ensuring maximum quality and ultimate flexibility.

08.
Drilling and cutting
Our automatic, numerically controlled drilling machines and saws can drill beams on three axes by removing chips, guaranteeing compliance with the most stringent dimensional tolerances.

09.
Structural steelwork
Thanks to our master structural steelworkers and welders, our steel products are completed in compliance with project drawings, allowing the most varied shapes to be obtained. The experience accumulated over decades has turned our company into an important partner of many industrial concerns that require components with stringent dimensional tolerances. Thanks to our consolidated network of specialised suppliers, the range of products we can offer is completed by mechanically processed products. When required by the technical specifications of the project, our large areas and suitable equipment allow us to pre-assemble our structural steelwork products.

10.
Quality and dimensional controls
For decades our expert in-house personnel - responsible for non-destructive testing and certified according to UNI EN ISO 9712 - together with valuable outsourced partners, have made Eurotravi products stand out from the rest.

We can offer the following qualitative tests thanks to our in-house laboratories and to the certified laboratories we collaborate with:
TENSION TEST
BEND TEST
STRIKE TEST
RESILIENCE TEST
MACROGRAPHY
CHEMICAL ANALYSES
HARDNESS TEST
MAGNETOSCOPIC TEST
ULTRASOUND TEST
RADIOGRAPHIC TESTS
PENETRATING LIQUID TEST
TESTING PROTECTIVE TREATMENTS

11.
Painting
Thanks to a manual sandblasting system for products up to 30 metres in length and a latest generation painting system, our metal structural products are completed by an anti-corrosion cycle in compliance with current regulations.

12.
Shipping
We organise transportation of our products – even exceptional transports – for deliveries all over Europe.
